When I began this post, I was down. Weary, tired. Originally, I’d meant to post over on Ebb and Flow with James’ “out to get you” video but it seems to have morphed into a music post. Music brings me up, sets me down, gives me comfort and evokes beloved memories and provides inspirations for those moments yet to come. After finding these tunes, I’m feeling brighter, lighter, and sleepy (always a good thing). Now, my mind is focused only upon this music, soothing me as I feel the Delta breeze come through the windows…

James — Out to Get You

“I’m so alone tonight my bed feels larger than when I was small. Lost in memory, lost in old sheets and old pillows…”

James — Waltzing Along
“I’m cured by laughter. May your mind set you free, may your heart lead you on”

New Order – True Faith
